In the summer of 2009, an importer of high end women's European footwear approached Riviera to help it navigate a crisis of good fortune: Larger than expected orders from a major luxury department store in the United States. The client's factory in Europe was not willing to be flexible enough on its required Terms for such a high volume of merchandise, and the retailer wanted to stick to a delivery deadline for all product to coincide with its fall apparel lineup.

Enter Riviera Finance. With a $600,000 new credit facility in place, the client was able to satisfy the supplier's rigid terms and delivered to its customer on time and within budget. The cost of factoring with Riviera has already been offset by a new round of large, high margin orders from the same retailer later in the winter quarter of 2009, with more on the way.

An unarmed security guard company approached Riviera in June of 2008 after months of struggling to make payroll, all while carrying a balance of nearly $200,000 (and growing) in unpaid receivables. Riviera saw an opportunity to assist the client in revamping their method of billing, and to provide a service to ensure more effective management of the company's receivables. With Riviera resolving the cash flow situation and improving the billing process, the owners can now focus entirely on managing shifts, coordinating schedules, and expanding the company's customer base.
