DESCRIPTION

A Riviera Finance BDM is responsible for all aspects of business development within a given market area. Responsibilities include prospecting, marketing, selling, and managing a viable business strategy. Ultimately it is the job of the BDM to establish and maintain long-term visibility for Riviera Finance in the marketplace, while locating and closing new opportunities on an ongoing basis. The BDM position carries with it a high expection of performance and a high level of responsibility. In return, the successful BDM can receive a wide range of personal rewards.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful BDM will be an energetic, self-motivated sales producer. Requirements include:

  • Minimum three years experience in consultative selling
  • Proven track record of success in prospecting and closing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Computer literate in Outlook, Word, and other basic business applications
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent networking and negotiations skills
  • Ability to travel
  • College degree preferred

REPORTING

The BDM reports to the National Sales Manager.

COMPENSATION

Compensation includes base salary, commissions, and incentive bonuses (quarterly and annual). All legitimate business expenses are reimbursed. Extensive support and training are provided.
